Like the name suggests, GE's Profile series is targeted at consumers who want to incorporate cutting-edge technology in their kitchen. This refrigerator has it all, from a Keurig K cup coffee maker on the door, to a clever dispenser of water. But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. Given that this fridge costs a premium, I expect better.

This refrigerator is a good choice, despite the small blip. It comes with a huge freezer compartment, which is quite uncommon in counter-depth French door refrigerators. Additionally, it holds a fair amount of frozen food compared to similar models.

The fridge is equipped with 17 shelves and compartments. The refrigerator compartment is 18.5 cubic feet, which is the standard for a fridge with a French door at this price. It has a decent-sized freezer in the left side. However it's not the most spacious one I've seen.

You can alter the shelves in each compartment to create a customized storage arrangement for the items you need to store. The GE PYE22PYNFS's design for the interior is attractive, too. The LED lighting is a nice addition and the storage bins come with the third shelf, which folds up beneath itself to allow you to store items that are tall. The drawers include temperature controls that allow you to set them to Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, although I found their textured plastic coatings to be a bit difficult on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with all the features you'd expect from a refrigerator in this price range. It has Wi-Fi as well as app support, and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app is compatible with iOS and Android devices and lets you manage your refrigerator from anywhere around the world. It also has numerous options for customizing. It will also send notifications when the door is left unlocked and when the freezer or fridge must be defrosted and when the filter needs to be changed.

It is nice to have GE PYE22PYNFS could offer Precise Fill, an option that is available in a few GE refrigerators that allow users to select the number of cups they would like to dispense. The fridge displays a countdown to show you how much water remains but it's not as useful as Precise fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is an impressive product. It's designed to look like a seamless piece in your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a vegetable compartment which keeps vegetables and fruits fresher for longer and two compressors for preserving food. The Ice maker is among the best we've ever tested and produces a pyramid-shaped ice that is low in use of water. This fridge is the perfect option for households with a single member or kitchenettes looking for a built-in look and top of the line food preservation.

This fridge was rated the top in our Refrigerators Test for several reasons. Its freezer temperatures held firm at just a few degrees Fahrenheit and never moving by more than a fraction an inch. This is essential to preventing freezing burn. The fridge's fridge section also performed well, reaching the temperature that was set for the initial setting within an hour and keeping that temperature steady throughout the course of our tests.

Bosch is known for its premium appliances which is why it's no surprise that this counter depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance that has the option of connecting to your home Wi-Fi and Bosch's Home Connect platform. The app lets you monitor and control your refrigerator remotely on your smartphone or tablet. The refrigerator is expensive, but it comes with great features and capabilities for the cost.

It is important to know the limitations of the fridge. It has a small space for shelves, so you may have to think creatively when storing tall items. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge features a standard French door design, and two rows of shelves that can be used to capture spills and a set of crisper drawers. The top shelf to the right can be folded in order to create more space for tall items. There's also a full-width drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the best things about this refrigerator is that the Ice maker is located in the freezer, which makes it simple to move ice into the fridge to use as needed. The freezer is designed with thoughtful elements, too, like sliding drawers that can help you better organize the placement of items. It has a large bin to store frozen food items, and a separate one for ice.

Another great feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can control the temperature, lighting, and other aspects of your refrigerator from your smartphone. It's a simple way to monitor your fridge and manage it, especially when away from home.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat but it doesn't improve the performance of the fridge. The fridge took a bit longer to defrost food and chill it than the other fridges we tried. This could be due to its bigger capacity.

The doors pose a problem with this fridge. The handles with a sunken design allow smaller people to open them from the bottom. However taller people will have a hard time closing them without slamming. It would have been much better if they had front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent choice for those who want to combine the aesthetics of a French-door refrigerator with a more efficient design. It has a capacity that is above average for counter-depth models, and it cools evenly. It's also less expensive than the most expensive counter depth refrigerator with an ice maker, making it a great choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good choice when you're looking for a French door refrigerator that doesn't cost a lot of budget. It's a minimalist design that's not as striking visually as some of the competition, but it has enough features that make it a great option. Its main feature is the temperature adjustable drawer that helps keep food items such as meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge ice maker as well as a water dispenser.

The "Chill Drawer", which is situated above the two crisper bins, is another excellent feature. The drawer allows you to divert part of the refrigerator's cooling power directly into this area, so you can put away food items that need extra attention. You can adjust this feature by using the slider located on the on the outside of the drawer. You can also alter the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I have found that the generic settings work better than the specific ones.

During my tests, the temperature of the refrigerator stayed fairly consistent across different areas of the refrigerator. Temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge did not vary much from 38 degrees, and the middle of the fridge was within one degree of 36. This is a great performance, but does not quite make it to the top of our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. The fridge can be linked with a smart thermostat in order to get more accurate readings on the internal temperature of your fridge.
